Connect to a Living Tradition

Our program is rooted in the Mysore Yoga Paramparā, offering a direct link to one of the most influential lineages in modern yoga. You’ll learn firsthand from Mysore’s elders how the āsana tradition evolved, while exploring the philosophical foundations of yoga through the lens of the Nāthamuni Sampradāya and Viśiṣṭādvaita Vedānta—the tradition that shaped the teachings of Sri Krishnamacharya.

Through in-depth study of the Bhagavad Gītā, Patañjali Yoga Sūtras, and Sāṅkhya Kārikā, presented by senior Sanskrit scholars, you’ll gain more than just information—you’ll receive a transmission of perspective rooted in lived experience and cultural continuity. These classical texts are explored from both traditional and contemporary viewpoints, making them relevant and illuminating in today's world.

Our aim is for you to graduate with a clear and articulate understanding of yoga’s history, evolution, and purpose—knowing which aspects of the practice are ancient, which are modern, and how they interconnect. We offer the most accurate and up-to-date insights, supported by current research and grounded in deep respect for tradition.

Be Respected and Recognized Globally

Led by Andrew Eppler—an internationally respected teacher with over 35 years of experience—our program connects you to a vibrant, multicultural yoga community. As a graduate, you’ll become part of a global network of sincere practitioners and recognized teachers, many of whom have studied at Ashtanga Yoga Studio or are part of its extended lineage.

This training doesn’t just honor tradition—it prepares you to carry it forward with authenticity, clarity, and confidence in a global context.
